Via Alpina de luxe, 4-day hotel-to-hotel trek

Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the Swiss Alps with the Via Alpina de Luxe tour, thoughtfully selected by me. This classic long-distance trail spans 20 stages from Liechtenstein to Montreux, and we will tackle three of the most scenic ones while staying in charming boutique hotels in the Berner Oberland.

Our journey begins in Lenk, where we’ll warm up with an acclimatisation hike before retiring to the Lenkerhof Gourmet Spa Resort for the night.
On day two, we’ll take on the stunning waterfalls and panoramic views along the way to Adelboden, where we’ll unwind at the luxurious Cambrian hotel with its indulgent spa facilities.
Day three is all about rugged mountain landscapes and a chance to spot chamois, leading us to Kandersteg and the picturesque Waldhotel Doldenhorn for our final night.

The tour culminates in a hike to the breathtaking Oeschinensee, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most spectacular highlights of the Via Alpina.

And don’t worry about carrying heavy bags with you – we’ll transport them from hotel to hotel, so all you need is your trusty daypack.
Each day, we’ll also treat ourselves to a scrumptious picnic lunch in the most scenic locations, followed by well-deserved relaxation in the spas and delicious meals at our hotels.
