Tour du Val de Bagnes
5-Day Hut-to-Hut Hike in Valais, Switzerland
Walk through the wild heart of Valais: Five stunning days on foot – from the high meadows of Verbier to the foot of glaciers, via hanging valleys, airy mountain passes and alpine lakes. This quiet circuit through the Val de Bagnes offers big views, true mountain charm and warm hospitality each night. We use smart logistics (a lift up on Day 1, optional one down on Day 5) to make the most of every step. A perfect mix of adventure, nature and comfort – far from the crowds.

Programme
Day 1 — Verbier → Cabane du Mont-Fort (~6 hrs)
We meet in Verbier and hike past summer pastures and quiet hamlets to reach the Mont-Fort hut. Welcome to the mountains.
Day 2 — Mont-Fort → Mauvoisin (~6.5 hrs)
A big, beautiful day via the Mont-Pleureur nature reserve and Lac de Louvie. Cross a high mountain pass before descending to Mauvoisin.
Day 3 — Mauvoisin → Cabane de Chanrion (~3.5 hrs)
An easier day along glacial valleys to Chanrion, a quiet, newly renovated hut in prime ibex territory. Time to relax and enjoy the setting.
Day 4 — Chanrion → Cabane FXB Panossière (~7 hrs)
The high point of the trek — literally and figuratively. Cross the Tsessette plateau and Col des Otanes, then descend to the stunning glacier-side hut.
Day 5 — Panossière → Le Châble (~6 hrs / 8 hrs without lift)
Descent via Moay/Bruson. If you’re tired, you can take the lift back down to Le Châble. Farewells in the valley.
Hiking times are approximate and may vary depending on weather and group pace.
