The route
Day 1 – Arrival in Kandersteg
Arrive, settle in, and enjoy the hotel spa before the adventure begins. Group briefing at 6 PM, welcome dinner at 7 PM. Rest well — tomorrow we hit the trail.
Day 2 – Oeschinensee: the perfect start
We start with one of the most beautiful lakes in the Alps — turquoise water, mountain backdrop, UNESCO World Heritage site. A stunning introduction to what’s ahead. Back at the hotel by late afternoon for spa time and dinner.
8 km · 450 m up & down · ±3h
Day 3 – Over the pass to Adelboden
A bigger day. We climb to the Bunderchrinde Pass with views over the Lohner range, then descend into the charming village of Adelboden. A luxurious spa hotel waiting at the end.
12 km · 1,251 m up & down · ±7h
Day 4 – Through the Wildstrubel to Lenk
The most dramatic day. We cross the Wildstrubel massif via the Bummerenpass — peaks, silence, and mountain hiking at its best. We end the evening with a celebratory dinner at the most beautiful hotel of the trip.
10 km · 838 m up, 110 m down · ±7h
Day 5 – A relaxed finish
A gentle final morning. We follow a waterfall to its hidden source — the perfect place for a slow picnic. Back in Lenk, goodbyes over coffee. Spa open until 3 PM.
11 km · 200 m up & down · ±3h
